GORD
Bass / Vocals
Leading WarCall with his aggressive vocal and guitar-oriented bass style since 2007, Gord has been a metal musician most of his life.
Starting at a young age fronting a Metallica tribute band, he has had many projects before meeting Mat in 2002 to start their first band Plan B, the genesis of WarCall.
In the 90’s and early 2000’s, Gord played James Hetfield in Wicked Circus, a Metallica tribute band, where he learned his stage craft in the bar circuit of Montreal. He later joined Underdogs, a 90’s metal cover band and started Weed Eater, a folk style, party-themed solo band.
From 2003 to 2007, he was the bass player of Plan B, that later became WarCall. He took on lead vocals on top of bass in 2008, right before the band started touring heavily in eastern Canada.
On top of fronting WarCall, Gord also plays Crâne, the drummer of local black metal legends Les Damnés.
SEB Guitars
Rooted in thrash and melodic death metal, he delivers fast, precise, and aggressive playing.
His approach incorporates prog, blues, jazz, and cinematic influences while staying grounded in the band’s roots.
Actively involved in composition and sound engineering, he contributes to shaping the band’s overall direction and sonic identity.
His longtime connection with Gord strengthens the band’s cohesion.
BAURZAE Drums
Baurzae is a passionate metal drummer who has been highly active on the Quebec music scene since 1998. Influenced by several iconic bands ranging from Death to Deicide, as well as Gorgoroth, his musical style sits at the crossroads of death, thrash, and above all black metal, reflecting a level of intensity and technicality that is uniquely his own.
Over the years, Baurzae has had the opportunity to perform and share the stage with several renowned acts from Quebec (Magister Dixit, Unexpect, Decayed Remains) as well as international bands (Satyricon, Krisiun, Obliveon), contributing to the growth of the metal scene in Quebec. His talent behind the drums has allowed him to build a strong reputation among the metal scene.
Now member of WarCall , he continues to expand his musical journey bringing a new sonic dimension to the band.
SIMON Guitars
Raised in a deeply musical family, he was immersed in music from an early age, but it was in his late teens that his real mission in metal began. Influenced by Metallica, Children of Bodom, Iron Maiden, Slipknot, and Van Halen, he brings a heavy, tight, fast, and relentless guitar style to WarCall, combining aggression, precision, and color.
Before joining WarCall, he played in several projects including Magnum Stallion, Projekt F, Demise of the Crown, and Chronochromie, gaining solid experience on stage and in the studio. Beyond guitar and backing vocals, he also contributes to composition and arrangement with a collaborative mindset, always focused on what best serves the song.
Known for his intense stage presence and physical commitment, he brings a level of energy that connects directly with the crowd from the first song to the last. Having crossed paths with WarCall on the scene years before officially joining the band, his place in the lineup feels like a natural continuation of that history.
