The Mission

War has always been an intrinsic part of humanity. Whether it is huge wars involving entire countries or the small wars we all fight every day to survive, it is fair to say that war has defined humanity. One of the definite treatises on war is Sun Tzu’s ‘The Art of War’; a book still in print to this very day. On the use of music in war, Sun Tzu writes: “Gongs and drums, banners and flags, are means whereby the ears and eyes of the host may be focussed on one particular point.” Now, we have WarCall, who not only use drums, but also bass, guitars, and vocals to achieve the same end with their growing army of fans. WarCall stands for all the fights we are fighting on a daily basis. It represents the struggle in life, the challenges we have to rise to. We get called to war every day and it is up to us to step up and face our fears.

First it was epic. Then it was brutal. After it was rock and roll. Now, it’s brutal epic rock and roll

WarCall’s artistic vision has always been to play fast, aggressive and melodic music, with a good level of technical abilities. The music is also very emotional, touching upon complex, difficult and very human subject matters.  While the band works towards a high decibel volume output, great attention is given to the lyrical content, the message and the stories it conveys. It’s about the fight in life, you can crawl down or rise to the challenge. WarCall is the war cry to overcome adversity.

Pure war metal that will rally the troops with its epic leads, striking vocals and enthralling rhythms.

Now, with five well-received albums under their bullet-belt (Dead End (2021), Invaders (2017), III (2015), Blood, Guts, and Dirt (2013), Demonarchy (2008)), this power-quartet will continue to push their limits futher. After having played in every major city and some remote locations of eastern Canada, the warm welcome they have received in France, Spain, Czech Republic, Belgium and Germany proves that WarCall’s music knows no boundaries. The pride every location show when they welcome the band is a great homage to the land they come from.
